NXT Kidz is expected to premiere in October, replacing SmackDown on Tuesday nights.

Building on the soaring popularity of its “developmental” brand, NXT, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced today the launch of a NXT Kidz, which will feature sports entertainers between the ages of five and 12.

Dubbed a “pre-developmental” league, NXT Kidz will showcase the most promising pre-pubescent athletes in the sport, who will do battle in a ring with lower ropes — and, occasionally, inside a special Heck in a Cell cage.
