Professional wrestler and behind-the-scenes WWE executive Hunter Hearst Helmsley has threatened to film a sequel to The Chaperone if he doesn’t get a promotion.
“I’m not bluffing,” he growled during a meeting with WWE’s human resources department.
“Either I get a five percent raise and a better parking space, or I’ll film another Chaperone movie. Do you really want that on your conscience?”
Helmsley cautioned that he already has some “great ideas” for the sequel, including several-dozen sight gags that involve him flexing his muscles and punching stuff.
This isn’t the first time Triple-H has used threats and intimidation to gain an upper hand in WWE, which he refers to exclusively as “this business.”
When he wanted to get a nice corner office at Titan Towers in Stamford, he threatened to bring back the Anonymous Raw GM angle until his demands were met.
