A teary-eyed Shawn Michaels confessed last week that he had once again lost his smile, but the WWE legend announced on Twitter today that he found it stuck between the cushions of his sofa.

“False alarm,” tweeted Michaels, who previously lost his smile in 1997. “It was in the couch. Found my car keys too.”

The news that Michaels had lost his smile again sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, as countless fans vividly remember the heart-wrenching period when Michaels forfeited his World Heavyweight Championship prior to WrestleMania 13 in hopes of relocating the missing facial feature.

Fans breathed a collective sigh of relief when Michaels announced today that his smile is back where it belongs.
