Santino Marella to play imaginary trombone with Boston Pops Orchestra
WWE Superstar Santino Marella announced yesterday that he has accepted an invitation to play the imaginary trombone with the prestigious Boston Pops Orchestra.
The Italian-born wrestler, who has honed his imaginary musical chops while high-stepping around wrestling rings worldwide, will join the orchestra during its Fourth of July Spectacular on the Esplanade along Boston’s Charles River.
Sources close to Marella said the good-natured superstar has been practicing his imaginary trombone around the clock, and they imagine it is sounding very good.
“It will be a great honor to play with the Boston Poops (sic),” Marella tweeted yesterday.
“I will be the world’s greatest tromboner!”
