Professional wrestler Randy Orton, known for his icy demeanor and glacial-paced ring entrances, has reportedly begun his long approach toward the ring for the April 7 WrestleMania event.

Orton arrived at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans yesterday, got attired in his wrestling trunks and boots, and began his gradual skulk toward the ring.

Given the immense size of the Superdome, Orton correctly estimated that, at his typical rate of approach, he will reach the ring just in time for his main-event showdown against Batista and, possibly, Daniel Bryan.

Orton’s entrance may be distracting for some fans because he will be schlepping toward the ring during all of the WrestleMania undercard matches.

It is believed that a team of helpers will bring Orton food and water during his long trek, and that the voices in his head will ensure that he keeps moving in the right direction, even long before the ring itself is assembled.

Orton is expected to deliver a promo when he reaches the ring, which will continue approximately until the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
