During an exclusive interview with Kayfabe News, professional sports-entertainment commentator Michael Cole — father of NXT up-and-comer Adam Cole — reveals what his son was like as a baybay.
“Oh, Adam was the most adorable baybay,” said the elder Cole, who trained Adam to become the standout second-generation superstar now leading the The Undisputed Era.
“I realize every father thinks his baybay is wonderful,” Cole continued, “but from the moment he was born, I could tell he was going to be vintage Cole.”
Ever since baybayhood, Adam has wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father — who, unlike a certain Deadman, boasts an undefeated record at WrestleMania, thanks to his victory over Jerry Lawler at WrestleMania 27 in a match that wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer gave an unprecedented 14 stars.
Michael has never revealed the identity of Adam’s mother, insisting she is a “wonderful but very private layday.”
Asked whether he thinks his son will one day become WWE World Champion, Michael hedged his bets, replying: “Maybay.”
