Numerous eyewitnesses have spotted a nondescript luchador arriving at the Bell Centre in Montreal, site of tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber event, though none could recall much about the masked man.
“The luchador was, I don’t know, kind of … commonplace?” said one witness. “Not commonplace. Mundane? That’s not quite it. Anyway, I think he wore a cape or something. And his mask was, I don’t know, part-shiny?”
Another witness, who asked to be identified only as K. Steen, described the luchador as “tres generique, n’est pas?” — aside from the red hair curling from under his generic match.
According to veteran wrestling journalist Dan Mutzler, the generic luchador is actually a top WWE talent in disguise: Cody Rhodes.
