Professional wrestler The Undertaker is eager to have a standout match at this Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania event in the hopes that he will impress a talent scout from Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling.
The Undertaker believes a solid performance against former UFC champion Brock Lesnar will finally be the “breakout match” he needs to burst out of the WWE mid-card and land a contract with superior rival promotion TNA.
Despite emerging victorious at the last 21 consecutive WrestleMania events, the so-called “Phenom” believes he has not yet demonstrated his true potential as a marquee star worthy of a TNA contract.
He says he has been perpetually “buried” by WWE matchmakers, as he only gets booked to perform a handful of times each year.
If he can defeat Brock Lesnar Sunday — which is a big “if,” because vast majority of pundits believe Lesnar will win easily — the Undertaker intends to approach TNA about a potential deal.
The Undertaker says his “dream match” would be an X-Division ladder match against Eric Young.
