“I can’t wait to get back into the ring and hurt myself,” Mysterio told reporters at a training session this morning.

“My knee is almost fully recovered, so it’s ready to be messed up again.”

Mysterio is considering a big return at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view, possibly by making a death-defying leap from the top of a steel cage onto Triple-H following his showdown with Brock Lesnar.

“That will show fans I’ve still got what it takes to be a main-eventer,” said Mysterio.

“And it will also shatter my tibia and displace my patella, which should give me at least another eight months off work.”
