Fans of professional wrestling were shocked when The Great Khali assisted Jinder Mahal for a victory at WWE Battleground, but keen-eyed observers may have noticed a different performer portraying the role of the Punjabi giant.

Glenn Jacbos — best known for his portrayals of Fake Diesel, Isaac Yankem, and some masked necrophiliac arsonist — has taken on the role of the Indian seven-footer. 

The original Great Khali, portrayed by Dalip Singh, became rickety and fell into disrepair several years ago, eventually being disassembled and sold for scrap parts. 

In the role of Khali, the versatile Jacobs is walking on small stilts — both to increase his height and to give his gait the authentic “Khali wobble” fans have come to expect. 

According to backstage rumors, he will square off at WrestleMania against The Yeti.
